Implementing Webinars for Businesses

Article by Brainloaf

Like so many other aspects of business nowadays, webinars are a way to accomplish many goals by implementing the Internet. Unlike the time prior to a tech savvy consumer audience, today’s businesses can use the internet for things such as demonstrations, lectures, sales pitches, etc. all with the use of webinars. A webinar is a term coined for the live video and audio seminar that is conducted over the web. This means that a business can promote its products and services to interested individuals without having to bother people in the middle of their daily activities. Neither will they have to leave the comfort of their home computer to “attend” these seminars. There are numerous applications available for the use of webinars. Some are able to be used free of charge while others require the user to purchase and install a specific program in order to broadcast their webinar. With these resources, it’s possible to broadcast live to thousands of people at a time – far more than a typical conference room could hold. Not only that, but a far larger audience is able to be reached due to the fact that the people attending are not limited to those in the immediate vicinity of the speaker’s location. A worldwide audience is now possible to have all at one time thanks to webinars.

Webinars are primarily a one-to-many situation with minimal interaction from the audience. However, depending upon the application that is used, it is possible to have question and answer segments and feedback from the audience as well. This can be in the form of text or verbally from a phone or microphone built into the computer. As mentioned before, there are numerous applications available to broadcast a webinar. Two of the most popular are “GoToWebinar” and “Ustream”.

GoToWebinar is a program that can be used for a flat rate, which makes it very cost effective to a company who plans on broadcasting webinars in a regular basis. Not only does this site allow the user to reach 1,000 people at one time, but for smaller meetings (within the company, for example) GoToMeeting is available. This is for an audience of 15 or fewer. This program allows people to start conferences quickly and easily and even has free audio via VIOP so that the presenter and the audience can speak with one another.

UStream is a site that touts the ability to allow anyone to start their own webinar via their website. Not only do they have live streams from people all over the world going on at any given moment, but they also have pre-recorded videos and even upcoming webinars that will be held at a later time. Much like better known websites such as YouTube, UStream allows people to create their own “channel” and hold their webinars and videos there. The audience can interact with both each other and the broadcaster through a text chat box. This site has their videos grouped into categories such as sports, entertainment, music, etc.

Using webinars is a way to intrigue people about the company’s products and services and may even entice them into signing up for an email newsletter or otherwise giving their contact information to the business. This could be for purposes such as updates on when more webinars will be taking place. Be they informative or for marketing purposes, webinars are a great way to spread the word about a business.

Network Marketing Business Tools – How To Incorporate Webinars Into Your Marketing System

Article by Terry Duff

To build a successful network marketing business, you need to find effective ways to communicate with your list on a personal level. Traditional ways of “personal” communication — like one-on-one telephone calls — are, to say the least, inconvenient (let alone time-consuming).

Engaging in personal communication with your list, though, is one of your best network marketing business tools you can utilize. So how can you do it, without having to spend twelve hours a day calling individual after individual on your list?

One of the best ways to accomplish this is through the use of periodic webinars. Webinars are a network marketing business tool that allow you to reach in a personal manner a large number of people, without having to spend an overly large amount of your time to accomplish it.

Here is how you plan and put together a successful webinar.

First thing you need to do is to send out two or three emails to your list inviting them to your webinar.

When you create the webinar, be sure to share valuable and helpful information based on what their needs tend to be. The last part of your webinar should share something with your list that they can purchase — whether it’s a product, a downloadable purchase off of a website or whether it’s an offer to join your business. The ratio of content to sales in your webinar, however, should favor content.

The benefit to doing webinars is that it allows you to communicate with your list on a much more personal level than just communicating with them by email. They will hear your voice — it will feel almost live and like they are communicating with them one-on-one. I am sure you can start to see why this is a valuable network marketing business tool.

A few notes of caution about doing webinars. When you are creating your webinars, and using webinars as a network marketing business tool, you want to proceed with caution. First of all, only hold webinars periodically. They are not effective if you’re doing them once a week.

Also, not every webinar should have a sales pitch in it. Some of them should be just content.

Done properly, however, a webinar will culminate your relationship with your database and establish trust with them. It will make them feel confident that you’re “on their team” and that you’re there to help them. You can’t ask for a much better network marketing business tool than one that accomplishes that. So start to incorporate some webinars into your marketing system, and see how it can help you build your business.

Question by mgdy.aboud: how could i use my Pc as an audio-video recorder?
i want to record an audio & video meeting with my family by my pc

Best answer:

Answer by silverbullet
You can already record audio if you have a line or mic input. For video, you need a card that will accept video inputs, some of these also have TV tuners.

Of course you also need software to accomplish your specific task. Most video cards will come with at least rudimentary software.

FDA Inspections – Do’s & Don’ts – Webinar By GlobalCompliancePanel

Article by Kerry Paul Potter

Overview: The purpose of the FDA inspection is a verification activity that should demonstrate to the regulatory agency and provide assurance that products consistently meet quality expectations and that your company is operating in a consistent and compliant state of control.

The key to a successful audit is being able to communicate how your quality systems assure this state of control.

However, the arrival of an investigator for an inspection can still be an intimidating experience. The inspection can be less traumatic if the site and its personnel are properly prepared for the inspection and the investigator. During this hour presentation, you will find out how to prepare for the inspection and minimize stress, disorder, and any misinterpretation by the investigator during the inspection with careful planning of activities and effective resource development will support a successful inspection.

Why you should attend:

* Recognize the purpose of the inspection * Learn how to properly communicate with the inspector * Anticipate what information the investigator can and will request * Know how to keep the inspection from being an “emotional” event. * Know what is expected of you and your company * Learn what not to say or do during an inspection. * Recognize your audit responsibilities and vulnerabilities * Identify the internal support system of a successful inspection * Realize what steps you/your company should take to prepare for a successful inspection

Areas Covered in the Session:

* Expectations of an audit * Why the FDA conducts inspections * Pre-planning and preparation activities * What to do when the investigator arrives * What documents to have ready and on hand * Assignments and responsibilities for the inspection * A review of Inspection Do’s and Don’ts * The Opening and Close-out Sessions * Actions to take after the inspection is over

Who Will Benefit:

* Site Quality Operations Managers * Quality Assurance personnel * Plant Managers * Manufacturing Superintendents and Managers * Individuals whose job knowledge and/or expertise may be required during an audit (Subject Matter Experts)

Question by pogo730: Multiple microphones on 1 PC for use during webinar’s/web meetings?
The company I work for has recently started doing a lot of webinar’s and web meetings using services like WebEx and DimDim. We talk using VoIP (not a teleconference bridge) while sharing our presentation materials with all the attendees who’ve logged on.

We are doing this in a conference room that holds 15-20 people using a PC that has a set of standard computer speakers, a webcam, and a microphone that is designed to pick up everything in the room (kind of like a speaker phone.)

The problem we’re having is that someone outside of our office will talk into their headset, their voice comes out of our speakers, travels back through our microphone, and finally back into the the person headset. This creates a very annoying effect that causes the person to hear himself repeat what he said a few seconds after he says it. When this happens, most people quickly decide they cannot tolerate it and refuse to continue until we switch to a phone conference.

What I’m looking for is a solution that allows us to use VoIP without the problem of our attendees outside the office hearing themselves talk immediately after they say something. Because we require that our microphone be turned on all the time during the session (people in the room often say things spontaneously) I think the main problem is the speakers.

I’m thinking a solution could potentially be that each person in our conference room has their own headset so that we don’t require a single ‘speaker phone’ style microphone and a set of speakers to sit on the table. If this is possible, what do I need to purchase to hook 15-20 3.5mm headsets up to a single computer? The goal here is to make it so that everyone wearing one can speak at will and hear everyone else speak through the earphones on the headset.

If that isn’t possible, has anyone else experienced a similar problem and solved it? I’d love to hear your solution.

Thanks in advance, I REALLY appreciate it.

Answer by twigsoffury
hmmmm i know what your talking about, Gamers get it to when they have there speakers up loud.

sometimes rolls into a repeated sound that ends up as a screeching.

I’m rather sure though, that nice sound cards have features that compensate for this. My Sound card (Azuentec Foret 7.1 Platnium) will actually Mute the inbound Audio whenever i press my Teamspeak Key so this doesn’t happen. I dont know if something like that would be up your alley or not, as the audio card is probably more expensive then purchasing all new headsets and what not (189.99$ USD) but its a thought, And probably would be a hell of alot easier to use, and a little bit more willing on the part of the employees.

If you noticed standard phones (when on speaker chat) also mute the inbound audio.

I’d also look into seeing if theres any intergrated features like noise reduction, or “Acoustic Noise Cancellation”, My intergrated card has those features as well, and they are pretty common.

Webinars: Progress of Call Center Services

Article by Jems Hug

There is an open secret among the employees who work in the BPO sector: when you share tricks, you pick up more than you share. That is the skeletal concept of having a webinar for the executives who work in call center companies. For those who are not in the loop, webinars are conferences conducted over the internet. The participants can take part in the webinar without having to set out of their office. This is convenient for busy executives who do not have the time to travel to a conference. Moreover, they can continue with their tasks as they participate in the webinar. Webinars are very helpful for the business process outsourcing industry, as much as it is for other sectors. In this article we will take a deeper look as to how webinars can be useful for the business prospects of a call center.

The advantages of a webinar start with the knowledge sharing process. Call center companies are spread out across the world. They are doing their own thing in terms of innovation and technology building. It’s true that they do discuss their work at forums and profile pages, but a webinar gives them the chance to interact on a more personal, proactive way. The audio-visual aspect of a webinar draws them closer than they are when they communicate through emails and other business correspondence. There is also the chance that executives of call center services have their own preferences when it comes to online hang-out spots. Webinars bring all of them on a single dais like never before.

In these webinars, executives can discuss about the work that they do. Because they are all stalwarts in their own field of expertise, the young guns participating in the webinars can learn a lot from them. They can pick up tricks about how to optimize their call center services and earn better returns on investment. They can learn about the better use of technology and also about the latest developments in the technology that they use. Call center companies who want to cater to a global market have to keep a close eye on the ever-expanding and changing BPO technology. If they do not find themselves growing with the rest of the industry, they will soon find the telemarketing projects drying up.

Webinars can be excellent grounds for lead generation, too. The speakers and the organizers of the webinars can impress the business heads and participating influencers into getting more business for their companies. That is why the organizing BPO has to be very careful about the process. They must put their best foot forward. The speakers need to work on their presentations and make the time worthwhile for the participants. You cannot talk about irrelevant details and expect participation from the very busy people that you are dealing with. If you disappoint them once, the word goes around. Arrange for material that will hold them rapt in attention. It pays to schedule webinars at convenient times as well.
