Video Streaming – New Products Webinar

Scott Lindsay asked:

If you are a vendor of goods that are routinely sold through online stores you may be an especially good candidate for video streaming.

You may use a phone conferencing system where multiple clients can converse with you about a new product. These types of services continue to be useful. However, a new generation of savvy vendors are finding a greater value in video streaming webinars.

Imagine a growing company with several hundred vendors or affiliates. This company has several new products they are ready to make available, but short of sending a sample to every current vendor on their list they opt to use a webinar to debut the new products.

They capitalize on the buzz by creating timely press releases and information on how the vendor can take advantage of the webinar. On a set date and time men and women gather in front of their computer screen to see the debut of the products.

As part of the video streaming webinar the company provides practical demonstrations of the product and benefits are fully reviewed. Explanations are provided as to why this product is superior to other similar products on the market. In the end the vendor is asked to register their attendance. By doing so they will receive a thank you gift.

This alerts the vendor as to the effectiveness of the webinar and allows them to make note of the most responsive affiliates.

In this case the vendor may be more inclined to promote a product than a website, but video streaming is used as a means of solidly marketing their product.

That same webinar can be archived for any vendor that could not attend when the video stream was being sent live.

You can also make the webinar an interactive experience by allowing emails to be sent live during the webinar from affiliates. If you have a slightly more sophisticated setup you could take landline, cell or VoIP phone calls from valued affiliates.

In this scenario you can answer a multitude of questions that will result in fewer questions following the webinar. This gives the webinar a much more comprehensive coverage on the product and saves you time following the webinar because the majority of the questions will already be answered.

The use of video streaming is a growing phenomenon with so many different positive applications. Video streaming provides opportunities for individuals to share footage of their families with other family members. Music and entertainment video streams can be shared. Television shows can be downloaded and best all, business can be done effectively through the use of video streaming technology.

How to Add Audio to Video

Hans Dekker asked:

Digital media is everywhere you look. Music and video production have made it to the grass roots level thanks to the affordability and widespread use of powerful computers.

Inexpensive digital video cameras are widely available, and older analog video cameras can be connected to a computer through a video card to download movies to the computer for editing, storage, and distribution to friends and relatives over the internet.

It has become fairly easy to edit your own videos, and there are many software packages available aimed at the amateur. The Windows operating system has its own video editing package called Windows Movie Maker that allows you to produce professional-looking videos.

As you explore this exciting new world, you will inevitably come up with the need to edit the audio portion of your video file. The sound quality of most video cameras is not great, so you may want to process the sound or replace it all together with music or voice-overs.

It is very easy to separate the audio from the video. Free software packages that do this task include Windows Media Encoder from Microsoft (if you are working with WMV video files) and VirtualDub (if you are working with AVI files). Either of these programs (and many others) allow you to save the audio portion of video file quickly and easily.
Once you have your audio file, you can process it for noise reduction, bring up the volume, add music or do any digital magic to it that you desire.

With many video editing packages, however, it isn’t necessary to split the audio to a separate file. Even simple packages like Windows Movie Maker have basic audio editing functions, and you can add separate music or voice tracks and mix all of them together.

If you have a particular audio file that you would like to use in your video (maybe a special effect or a voice over that you have recorded separately) simply add that file to the list of media to be included in the video. Other media formats can be separate video files, picture files or graphics.

The audio file can be placed anywhere on the time-line, and you can use the same file many times without requiring any extra storage space on your computer. For precise placement, zoom all the way into your timeline and place the audio exactly in sync with the video. That’s it! You are well on your way to making professional-looking videos!

How to Download YouTube Video and Save It to Your Computer for Offline Viewing

Yew Reed asked:

YouTube has been one of the most popular website to view all kind of videos posted by people around the world. Just enter the YouTube website and you can search virtually any kind of videos on the subject you like.

With embedded HTML code and video streaming technology, you are able to watch videos directly from your browser. You are also able to post text comment or a video response to the videos, view other related videos and upload your own video as well. With lots of features given, unfortunately there is one feature that YouTube does not provide and that is to let you download the video.

But here is a trick to let you download and save the video for offline viewing.

1. Go to any YouTube video you are watching. Right click on page and select the “View Source” option from the menu. Or “View Page Source” for FireFox browser.

2. Press “CTRL + F” to search for a word “player2.swf”. And notice there is a HTML line like this:

“/player2.swf?hl=en&video_id=tRTk0RPXtW4&l=63&t=OEgsToPDskIQlbZwT1Qgaln7RKqMqrKe”

3. Replace the “/player2.swf” to “http://www.youtube.com/get_video” and it will become:

4. Paste it to the “Address Bar” at top of your browser and press “Enter”. Then it will prompt you to save the video. REMEMBER to name your video with the “.flv” extension at the end of the filename. A correct example would be something like “myvideo.flv”.

Keep in mind that the video you have saved just now is in Flash Video Format. It is the standard file format YouTube use to play video on their website. So, your Windows Media Player might not able to play the video. But no worry, what you need to do is just go to google.com and search for “flv player” and there are couples of Free player available. Just download and install it on your computer you will be able to watch the video you saved just now.

OK, now grab the popcorn and enjoy the movie!

Will Your Timing Kill Your Email Marketing Campaign?

Max Kazen asked:

One of my favorite quotes on timing is from someone named Stacey Charter: “Life is all about timing…the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable becomes available, the unattainable…attainable. Have the patience, wait it out. It’s all about timing.”

It rings true.

Similarly, successful e-mail marketing is all about timing, and timing your e-mails with an appropriate sequence and message will help you “reach the unreachable; make the unavailable…available, and the unattainable…attainable” in delivering your message in a way designed to affect the maximum response.

In the period your e-mail campaign encompasses, your messages should sequence the following:
Asking what your prospects want. Ask for comments on your blog, or send out a survey. Start accumulating data to determine what is needed…what are your prospects or customers frustrated by, what do they fear, what do they desire? In a 30-day period, start with an e-mail query on a Wednesday, then repeat it on the Monday of the following week, or something in a similar sequence. Once you’ve gathered some data, toward the end of that week, send an e-mail message indicating you’ve received the data, and that you’re putting the information together to determine the best way to address the needs. Send another e-mail confirming this is what you’re doing four to five days later. Determine the method you’re going to use to address the need identified. This could be a free webinar or some type of on-line event. Or, it could be an e-book or PDF outline. Whatever you have determined will best fill the need within the resources you have available, send an e-mail, within the next three to five days, to your list to let them know what’s next. If it’s an on-line event of some kind, send the registration information. Follow through with whatever you have promised to share. This needs to be information you provide for free…even if there is a selling component at the end. And…if you are selling something…the offer must be at the end. The purpose of collecting the “problem” data and preparing a solution to the need is to build rapport and trust. You may, in fact, have a more in-depth and longer-lasting solution that your prospects or customers choose to purchase from you. It is, however, important to provide immediate “pain relief” without a price tag. After all, you’re here to help. Follow up on attendance or downloads. For all those who registered to get the free information, regardless of your delivery format, check to see how many actually showed up, or downloaded the information you provided. For anyone who didn’t, send a follow-up e-mail to tell them how to get the information…with a deadline. Do a deadline countdown e-mail series to impress the urgency of getting the information while it’s still available, generally something like: 72 hours, 48 hours, 24 hours, and “the final 12 hours.” Keep your offer for “additional paid assistance” at the end of your “solution program”; whether you decided on a live video broadcast, a power point with audio presentation, or e-book/PDF format. Leave this out of your deadline e-mail series. If your prospects or customers really want help, they’ll find your offer much more enticing by discovering it for themselves at the end of your helpful free information. Avoid the average marketer’s e-mail barrage that simply says “I have something to sell” for 30 days in a row. With a maximum of 10 to 12 e-mails in the month, beginning with several “How can I help?” messages, and then providing both immediate relief, along with potential long-term relief through your product, you will build relationship, trust, and potential with perfect timing.

Using Teleseminars to Build Targeted Traffic and Build Opt-In Lists

Doug Champigny asked:

Teleseminars, teleclasses and free webinars are powerful tools for building targeted traffic and to help build opt-in lists.

Look at the standard format for free teleseminars and free webinars – first, they’re usually held to promote a product, an affiliate link or a major launch. So in each case, usually at least two marketers is involved – the merchant whose product or launch is being promoted and the affiliate or interviewer who is conducting the call.

So right off the bat you have two marketers promoting the event, which in itself starts the traffic rolling. Add in additional affiliates promoting the event, pre-event publicity and any marketing buzz and you’re already driving targeted traffic to the call.

And since most calls are behind a squeeze page, this means all that targeted traffic is being used to build opt-in lists at the same time. And after the prospect has opted in, the confirmation page often has additional offers, especially if the teleseminar or webinar isn’t occurring yet. Once again, the event is being used to build targeted traffic.

Next, during the call itself a lot of good content will be delivered, almost always followed by a pitch for the product or service being promoted. Again targeted traffic is being driven to the desired location, courtesy of the teleseminar or webinar. Note that this is not exclusive to free webinars or free teleseminars as often paid-access events will also promote products, but it’s more common for the free events.

After the event, if sufficient quality information was delivered during the call itself, the recording of the teleseminar or webinar will be put online for on-demand replay, and once again an opt-in is usually required to get access to the recording. Sometimes the audio or video recording is available for download, sometimes just for access online, but either way it’s achieved it’s goal of building an opt-in list, and the product recommendations within the recording will continue to build targeted traffic for some time to come.

If you haven’t been using free teleseminars and/or free webinars in your online marketing mix yet, it’s time to start strategizing it into your promotional efforts. Set up a bridge line or find reliable webinar hosting, select a product or service to promote and get to it – don’t miss out on this powerful means to building targeted traffic and building opt-in lists quickly!

Make Money After Bankruptcy – Day 2 – Creating a Winning Information Product

Mark Paddock asked:

Once you have decided on the market and researched it thoroughly, hopefully you will have an idea for an information product you feel confident in. Now we need to create the product.

There is a multitude of different media formats to deliver you product. Here are the most popular examples though the are many more:

E-book
Report
White Paper
E -Course/ lessons
Video Course
Webinar
Teleseminar
Audio MP3
Continuity Programme
Create Your Information Product Quickly

For your first information product keep it simple so you can get started quickly. I would recommend a short 20-50 page report, with the audio Mp3 of the report to go along with it (most people would rather listen to the audio and follow the report than just read the report).

Hear is a quick and easy way of creating an info product. Lets stay with the sales example from the previous post as I’m sure its relevant to lot of you out there who have experience in sales. Prepare a script for a presentation style lecture on your chosen subject lets say “Building a customer rapport quickly”. Make it last for about an hour and break it down into a number of sections ( I’ll explain why soon). Create a video seminar in which you present the information (you can even just use your webcam if you like. There is plenty of free trial software out there to help you with this part. Its as easy as doing a Google search to find). Record it and there you have it, your first information product.

If you don’t feel comfortable doing a video presentation simply do an audio one. The software I use for this is called “Stepvoice Recorder” and the sound editing software I use is called “WavePad Sound Editor”. Both are available with free 30 day trials so there is no need to even cough up the money to buy the software.

“What if the product I want to create for my niche has already been created by someone else?”

I hear you cry! Then there are 4 things you can do:

You could try to acquire the “Resale Rights” of the product. If the product has been around for a while and its creator/author has stopped promoting it maybe possible for you to buy the rights to it and sell it.

You could do a “Joint Venture” with the creator/author. This means you and the author collaborate to come up with a “New Improved” or revised version of the product and split the proceeds.

Find out if there is an “Affiliate Program” associated with the product that you can take part in( we will cover this in more detail letter on in the post series). Becoming an affiliate of a product means to sell someone else’s product and take a commission. Its very detailed and you could be here for days reading about it if I wrote everything there is!

You could break down the niche again to find the “niche within the niche” For example you’re an expert on selling to corporations what about just concentrating on sales presentations or building your customer rapport or body language and physical buying signals. You can break it down again and concentrate on sales presentations for software products or lingerie or whatever it is you have the knowledge on.

Then you must break down the niche again to find the “niche within the niche” For example you’re an expert on selling to corporations what about just concentrating on sales presentations or building your customer rapport or body language and physical buying signals. You can break it down again and concentrate on sales presentations for software products or lingerie or whatever it is you have the knowledge on.

Increase the value of your product

To increase the value of your product why not include the script you have written as a “Free Bonus” PDF download so people can follow your presentation with it. Why not split up the seminar into its sections so it becomes an Course of seminars and produce a workbook to coincide with it and provide a pod cast Mp3 as a “Free Bonus”. you can even post snippets of the video on Youtube as part of your marketing strategy (but we will go into more detail with that later in the post series)

If you really want to start adding value you could have a physical work book bound to accompany your course, record the course onto CD format and send these out to your customers. Then they’ll have a tangible product which gives them greater perceived value. The key here is really to make your offer massively, overwhelmingly valuable!

You must include free bonuses, unannounced bonuses, bonus podcasts, bonus free membership to your site where they get discounted future products etc.

There you have it your first information product created for a starving market.

Thanks for reading.

Video Streaming: Webinars and Online Marketing

Scott Lindsay asked:

Video streaming is a popular means of providing both audio and video for clients or affiliates. It is possible to set a specific time when the video presentation is available and use it as a training tool.

Essentially you would create a live presentation for customers or affiliates that could be downloaded at a certain time so there would be a larger number of individuals logged into the video stream at the same time. You could set this up as a member only video webinar or make it available by invitation only with password-protected acceptance to the conference.

A chat room can be set up to take questions from those watching the webinar. This can provide a connection that may not be practical if you had to rely on more sophisticated video conferencing. If you do choose to use this approach you may want to save the presentation as a podcast that could be used at a later date for either new clients or new affiliates.

The development of quality webinars can provide a significant draw to your website. Most individuals are looking at furthering their education in fields that hold personal or professional interest. If you can provide a fee-based or members-only webinar you are likely to see increased traffic to your site and an increased potential for list building opportunities.

There are so many tools available to netrepreneurs, yet is seems the advances in technology may be frightening to those who may understand business, but are intimidated by the technical aspect of moving their experience to the worldwide web.

Freelance video, audio and content professionals can aid you in the development and execution of quality video streaming for your website.

The use of video streaming can provide a sense of professionalism that may be lacking in other online presentations.

The addition of audio provides a great personal connection to your customers, but the addition of video streaming ads an element to the process that shouldn’t be minimized. Most people want to know whom they are dealing with and if they can see and hear you they may feel better capable of assigning a level of trust with you and your online business.

With the growth of computer hard drive space and processing speeds video is becoming a highly desired standard for online presentations. The costs associated with video streaming may be less than you imagine. Maybe it’s time to investigate the possibilities.

10 More Give Marketing Ideas

Tinu Abayomi-Paul asked:

Give marketing is all about using your generous nature to bring you good fortune. It’s “fortune” rather than reciprocation because you may be rewarded from someone other than you gave to – sometimes just the right person with the connections you need.

Of course, the best reward of give marketing is that it feels good to do the right thing…

Give Marketing Tip #1- Giving a Private Phone call

Meeting online is great. But some things are better discussed on the phone. If you have a lot of international friends, cut down your calls with Skype, an app that lets you make calls on a hi-speed connection through your computer. All you need is a headset and their free software. For a small fee you can even get an incoming phone number.

Give Marketing Tip #2- Giving a Teleseminar

Not all Give Marketing is about giving without knowing where the reciprocation will come from. Hold a free teleseminar where you discuss just a few tips as a demonstration of your knowledge, then upsell to a starter item. Add an affiliate program and you’ll never be without visitors.

Give Marketing Tip #3- Giving a Webinar

While you can get free service for a teleseminar of up to 100 people if you’re stateside, most webinars with more than ten guest will cost you a bit of change. To overcome that, record the webinar and sell it as a starter package to those who couldn’t make it.

Give Marketing Tip #4- Giving a Video Demo

If you’ve got a way to capture screenshots, next time you have a tip to share, try creating a video instead. Once you get the hang of the software, it can sometimes be faster and more effective than a written tip. Of course, some things are better left in print, so choose wisely.

Give Marketing Tip #5- Giving a Screenshot

Almost all computers have an easy way to capture the screen, or freeware you can download to do it. Say it in pictures.

Give Marketing Tip #6- Giving a How-to

It can be in text, pictures, audio, video, or all of the above.

Give Marketing Tip #7- Giving Your Friendship

Everyone needs help or a shoulder to lean on sometimes. Make friends. It’s lonely online.

Give Marketing Tip #8- Giving Thanks

Yeah, it seems obvious, but we all forget sometimes. By the way, thank you for reading my article. :)

Give Marketing Tip #9- Giving Use of Your Resources
Share and share alike. And probably get tons of links too.

Give Marketing Tip #10- Giving an Interview or an Interview Opportunity

Just because giving an interview benefits you, don’t think it’s not important to the other party too. And if you’re the one asking for the interview, remember to be respectful of the other person’s time, and be patient if something goes wrong. Just because we’re online doesn’t mean folks don’t have lives, get sick, or have mini-disasters of their own.

Being understanding pays off way more than being a prima donna.

Give Marketing Tip #11- Giving Content or a Place to Publish Content
There will never be too many quality resources that provide or publish content.

By now, you see how this Give Marketing Thing works. You make yourself an indispensable resource, and your knowledge and service does the marketing for you.

Free Movie Clips

Steve Valentino asked:

Free movie clips are those clips that are available free of cost over the Internet. These clips can be downloaded from the website, which offers them without any charge. Free movie clips are generally released to popularize upcoming movies by providing the audience a sneak preview of the main attractions in the feature film, be it its special effect or its music. Releasing a movie clip over the Internet has become a useful marketing strategy for studios.

Free movie clips are released both in video and audio format. The main platforms targeted for free video clips include computers and laptops, which can be used to directly download these clips from the Internet and which already have pre-installed programs to view them. The other viewing platforms that can be used to view movie clips include cellular phones and portable video players, most of which do not have the capacity to download these clips directly.

In case of free audio clips, the main platforms that can be used to play these are cell phones and other music devices such as MP3 players and iPods. A simple method of downloading free audio and video movie clips to devices that cannot download them directly is to first download the clip on your computer and then transfer it to the device, using a data cable or any other transfer method such as blue-tooth or infra red transfer.

Before downloading free movie clips, it is advisable to confirm whether the website offering them is legitimate. This is important, since downloading movies or movie clips from an illegal or unauthorized website is a crime under the federal law.

As a part of their marketing efforts, most studios create a unique website for each movie that they release. Short clips of the movie are usually available for download on these websites.

Choosing an Autoresponder

C. Andrew Smith asked:

Nearly everyone has heard the phrase, “The Money Is In The List”, at some time or another. If you are advertising products or information via a website, whether they are your own products or whether you are acting as an affiliate, the larger your list is – the larger your profits are likely to grow. Nearly all successful online business people develop their list with an auto responder. As the name suggests, an auto responder is a piece of software that delivers pre-written messages, information, offers or promotions to email addresses supplied by visitors to your web site or splash pages.

The formula is effortless.

Setup a web page that provides something of massive value totally away for free. It may be a free report, a video tutorial, an audio interview, or a live webinar. Then, in return for your free information, the visitor will provide you their contact details.

And then the magic happens. You can follow up with them automatically and offer extra value and even persuade them to buy from you! This is all accomplished using an auto responder, all automatically and efficiently for you. The notion being that by giving valued and useful information, you develop trust with your list and increase the chances of them purchasing from you.

Stats show that most visitors will not pay money for something off the internet on first contact. The generally accepted standard is that it takes something like 7 contacts before someone will make a purchasing decision. In other words, you may perhaps do all the hard work to get a visitor to your site, but if you don’t put into action some way to keep in touch with them and remind them of your product again and again over time, your initial effort may well have been in vain.

Nearly all auto responders allow you to run numerous campaigns, so you can have a separate campaign (and different lists) for different niches. This is essential as it allows you to keep lists targeted on a particular niche. The only manual work necessary is in the initial setup phase of your campaigns but this is straightforward to do and most service providers have online instructions and help for the inexperienced. It is simple to setup and once the setup is completed, a lot of the hard work is removed when it come to interacting with prospects or following up on customers with after sales service. Providing informative emails rather than cold selling will go a way towards building trust and credibility with your list.

Always search for a service that provides you with unlimited Auto responders for a flat rate. This takes care of all future increase of your venture, and these days this level of service has become very affordable. Some providers keep increasing your subscription costs as the size of your list grows and you don’t want to go through the headache of transferring your list to a lower cost provider later down the line.

Having an auto responder service as part of your online enterprise is virtually non-negotiable. If your hosting company can provide you with easy access and help in setting up such a lead capturing system in order to make the most of your profit and save you money, then you most likely found the right place to host your business as well.
